$89.99
Tommy Bahama has created a brand focused on island living, a relaxed way of life, and the dream of never having to leave the beach. Founded by Tony Margolis, Lucio Dalla Gasperina and Bob Emfield in 1993, the brand originated with casual sportswear and their signature printed silk camp shirt, which became popular after Kevin Costner wore it in the 1996 film ""Tin Cup."" It has expanded to carry swimwear, footwear, accessories, fragrances and home furnishings. There are even Tommy Bahama restaurants and brand rum. The first Tommy Bahama fragrances, Tommy Bahama for Women and Tommy Bahama Men, became available in 2004. In 2007, the company released Set Sail St. Barts, which sought to capture the scents of the island. Since then there have been multiple releases in the Set Sail brand, including Set Sail South Seas and Set Sail Martinique. Tommy Bahama now carries 15 different scents. In its pursuit of the leisure life, Tommy Bahama continues to focus on fun. In 2009, the company signed a deal with the Professional Baseball League of the USA to create MLB limited edition camp shirts. It has sponsored yacht races across the Pacific and televised golf tournaments. They even founded the National Relaxation Day. Tommy Bahama also created the Garden of Hope and Courage, a non-profit breast cancer awareness foundation and healing sanctuary in Naples, Fla., as a memorial to Janet Emfield, Bob's wife.
